Tostem Thailand Continues Its Commitment to Sustainability, Moving Toward a Low-Carbon Society for the 12th Consecutive Year
On July 19, 2025, Tostem Thailand organized its annual tree-planting activity under the project “Tostem Thailand for Sustainability – Toward a Low-Carbon Society”, marking its 12th consecutive year. More than 100 volunteers and employees joined together to plant trees at Ban Nong Prarang Community Forest in Samut Sakhon Province, contributing to long-term forest restoration and environmental conservation.
Over the past 12 years, Tostem Thailand has planted more than 11,000 trees, demonstrating the company’s strong commitment to increasing green areas and supporting sustainable environmental practices. This year, together with the local community, we planted an additional 1,000 trees, helping absorb approximately 15.6 tons of CO₂e per year—a significant contribution to climate change mitigation.
Objectives of the Project
1. Reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate global warming
2. Conserve biodiversity and restore ecological balance
3. Increase green spaces around local communities
4. Promote employee engagement in social and environmental initiatives
5. Reduce environmental risks through forest preservation and soil moisture improvement

In addition to planting trees, volunteers participated in community learning activities and exchanged knowledge with local residents on sustainable forest care. This collaboration reflects the power of cooperation between the private sector and the local community in building a greener and more resilient future.
